The Sanctions Law practice focuses on international projects complicated a sanction element.

The team specializes in export control and international trade, blocking and hybrid sectoral restrictions, sanction challenging, obtaining licenses from competent authorities and compliance.

The VERBA LEGAL team, led by Tatyana Neveeva, was the first in Russia to get a license to unblock the assets of an individual investor and the first in Russia to use the unblocking license, having come full circle. The team has obtained more than 50 unblocking licenses so far.
