Her professional expertise was formed as part of her work in an investment company, as well as in leading law firms.

Selected Experience

Resolution of international disputes and investigations

Alexandra advised:

the largest metallurgical group, in a global commercial dispute involving more than 15 jurisdictions; the team acted as the main coordinating consultant;

a principal, in connection with unfair claims in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales in order to establish control over a large block of shares in a leading Russian industry company;

a principal, as part of an investigation into corruption schemes, including forced disclosure of information to support foreign proceedings against an opponent, a large Western corporation, in connection with its illegal activities in various countries;

a principal, in connection with the unlawful blocking of a significant asset in a foreign country, including support for international investigations and lawsuits;

a principal, in a criminal case processed in the USA in connection with alleged violation of the US sanctions regime;

a large financial technological holding. in a corporate dispute with minority shareholders in the GCC region;

a principal, in a corporate dispute, including his withdrawal from the joint venture and repurchase of part of the oil production business in the CIS countries and the restructuring of intra-group debt;

a principal, on the issues of de-sanctioning in the USA, including interaction strategy development and interaction with regulators.

Transactional experience

Alexandra advised:

consolidation of insurance assets of VTB Insurance and SOGAZ Group in SOGAZ Group, as a result of which the largest insurance company in the Russian market was established;

an investor, in the restructuring and acquisition of a majority stake in a holding company that owns the airport property complex;

a large Russian port, in structuring and supporting the acquisition of other port asset, taking into account complex regulatory requirements and restrictions;

an investor, when establishing a joint venture as a part of the infrastructure project for the construction of the airport, as well as the protection of the investor's interests in connection with the contesting of tender procedures;

a principal, in structuring, drafting and negotiating the acquisition of one of the largest Russian producers of alcoholic beverages, including the settlement of debts in international arbitration disputes;

a principal, when selling one of the largest Russian transport companies;

one of the investors, when establishing a joint venture aimed to consolidate large Russian streaming services, including development of terms and conditions for managing the content strategy;

an investor, when structuring and supporting the acquisition of a minority stake in a publicly traded mining company listed on the LSE;

a principal, on investing into an asset – a foreign multi-jurisdictional payment system – using a convertible loan, taking into account the regulatory specifics of the asset.
