The media had previously reported on the issuance of licenses to individual investors by the Belgian Ministry of Finance, yet the practical execution of these licenses remains quite complex. The lengthy documentation process and compliance checks conducted by Euroclear and receiving banks protract the proceedings.

A client of the VERBA Legal team not only succeeded in obtaining a license but also in its complete execution. The securities were successfully transferred to the client's account in a Swiss bank.
