Yulia supports projects on unblocking assets of individuals and legal entities, including participation in challenging refusals to unblock assets, as well as directly liaising with foreign regulators in the area of sanctions.

a Russian individual investor in obtaining an Euroclear licence to unblock assets without a European passport or residence permit;

individuals and legal entities in preparing applications to unblock assets with the Belgian Ministry of Finance, followed by support of transfers after obtaining permissions;

clients in preparing applications for individual OFAC licences;

clients in preparing applications for individual OFSI licences;

a client in filing an application to challenge a decision of the Belgian Ministry of Finance, as a result of which the decision was cancelled;

communication with regulatory authorities in the sanctions field;

clients in advising on the sanctioned status of individuals and legal entities.

U.S. Tariff Increases on Imports from India for Purchases of Russian Oil: Legal Analysis and<br>Consequences

On August 6, 2025, the President of the United States signed an Executive Order imposing an additional ad valorem rate of duty of 25 percent on all imports of articles of India. The duty, taking effect on August 27, 2025, is aimed at prevention of circumvention of energy sanctions against Russia. Accordingly, with effect from July 27, the rate of the U.S. duty on Indian imports will increase to 50 percent.
