Artem has significant experience in advising on sanctions regulation and liaising with government authorities. He specialises in licensing, obtaining permits from government authorities, drafting legislation, and structuring transactions to meet the mandatory requirements of government authorities.

Artem's clients include major Russian and international companies in the transport, fuel and energy, chemical, metallurgical and other industries. The geography of his projects covers such countries as Cyprus, the Netherlands, CIS countries, South-East Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

a major company on intra-group reorganisations involving jurisdictions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Cyprus and the Kingdom of the Netherlands;

a major aircraft equipment supplier on sanctions compliance matters;

an organisation engaged in scientific research in healthcare, including advice on medical technology transfer to provide future users with a comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects of medical technology transfer in Russia and CIS countries, specific regulatory requirements and the procedure for contractual interaction between transfer participants;

one of Russia's leading financial institutions on large-scale strategic investments in infrastructure development projects in the Tashkent and Samarkand regions;

a public-private partnership in Uzbekistan on projects covering strategically important sectors, including industrial production, textile industry and urban infrastructure development;

Russia's largest pharmaceutical company on market entry into Uzbekistan, obtaining permits and interacting with state authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Uzbekistan's national payment system on international transactions, adaptation to foreign jurisdiction requirements and compliance with local legislation;

a major international logistics company, among the top 10 logistics companies in the CIS, in Kazakhstan, on subsidiary registration, including preparation of incorporation documents, certificates, applications and other required documentation, interaction with state registration and tax authorities on company incorporation and tax registration in Astana, acquisition of necessary licences for company activities, opening of bank accounts in Kazakhstan banks;

Russia's largest pharmaceutical company on establishing a network of representative offices in 8 CIS states, including opening bank accounts in each jurisdiction, compliance for operations from Russia, and assistance in interacting with regulatory authorities;

one of the largest manufacturing enterprises in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (UAE) on conducting business activities and obtaining necessary permits;

a key player in the precious metals market in Russia in a JV with an Indian company in India and South Asia;

a coal company in India, UAE and China, including legal support for trade finance, as well as export and import operations;

one of the world's leading potash fertiliser producers, including development of a company ownership model through UBO taking into account existing sanctions restrictions and related processes in India;

India's largest company and a Russian holding on structuring and creating a JV in the field of investments in microelectronics of South-East Asian countries;

one of Russia's largest banks on market entry into India in 2022-2025.
