For more than 18 years Anton has been specializing in international commercial arbitration and Russian arbitration proceedings, having gained an extensive experience resolving disputes and advising Russian and foreign clients.
Anton advises and represents major companies and private clients in international arbitration and state courts at all levels resolving commercial, oil and gas industry, construction and corporate disputes, as well as in the out-of-court conflict resolution procedures. He has also advised on dispute resolution mechanisms when entering into M&A transactions.

Anton has participated in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, SCC, FAI and the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICAC). He also boasts a solid track record as an arbitrator conducting cases under the rules of the ICAC and the Russian Arbitration Center (RAC). He is included in the list of arbitrators recommended by the RAC and is a member of the ICC Russia Arbitration Commission.

Education
In addition to his Russian legal qualification (2008), Anton also completed a master's program in International Commercial Arbitration at Stockholm University (2016) and underwent an internship at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Anton is also the author of a monograph and several publications on commercial arbitration and public international law.

a leading international IT infrastructure provider in a series of disputes with Russian clients brought before the ICAC, settling some of them amicably;

a Russian food retailer in an arbitration under the SCC Rules on a claim brought by a Latin American fruit supplier to recover damages resulting from the termination of a contract;

a leading pharmaceutical company in the LCIA arbitration in a dispute arising out of a technology transfer agreement in the field of medical products manufacturing;

a global leader in multimodal transportation in an arbitration under the ICAC Rules and in the course of an amicable settlement of a dispute with a former shareholder arising from an MBO transaction entered into as part of the client’s exit from the Russian market;

a client in the SCC arbitration in a dispute initiated by a Latin American fruit supplier for recovery of damages due to contract termination;

a leading chemical producer in a dispute for the supply of equipment under ICC rules governed by Swiss law;

a Russian chemical holding company in the HKIAC arbitration in a corporate dispute against a Cypriot counterparty;

the largest Russian insurance company in an arbitration under the LCIA Rules on an English law-governed cooperation agreement with a leading Russian banking group;

an oil and gas service company in arbitration proceedings under the ICAC Rules on a claim for damages allegedly caused through the fault of a Russian general contractor following an incident at a drilling site.
Foreign courts
Anton has represented/advised:
a Russian state-owned bank on recognition and execution of a judgment of a Russian court in Singapore against a Singaporean debtor and its branches located in India and on the BVI;

a Russian HNWI on the Russian civil and procedural law matters in connection with a claim in the amount of USD 200 million brought against the client in the Court of the State of California;

a Russian state-owned company in a case over damages amounting to EUR 14 million forming a part of criminal cases initiated in a number of European jurisdictions.
Dispute resolution
Anton has represented/advised:
an Austrian industrial equipment manufacturer on various issues concerning the Russian jurisdiction, in an arbitration under the ICC Rules against a Russian state-owned corporation in relation to a contract for the supply and installation of equipment;

a major international agrochemical company in a case brought before a Russian court concerning the recognition and enforcement in Russia of a SAC award rendered against a Russian agricultural group.

an international theatrical company in a series of litigations eventually reaching the Russian Supreme Court involving a former landlord and relating to the claims for damage inflicted to the premises and for lost profits, challenging an unlawful refusal to perform a lease agreement and retention of equipment;

an international shipping group in Russian arbitration courts in connection with the recognition and enforcement in Russia of foreign arbitration awards and a decision of a foreign state court, including by the Russian Supreme Court (setting a precedent), as well as in the course of parallel Russian debtor liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings;

an international hotel chain in disputes with a contractor in Russian arbitration courts and in the course of parallel proceedings in the SCC; in a dispute arising from the refusal to recognize and enforce an interim arbitration award including at the Russian Supreme Court level (setting a precedent);

the largest manufacturer of paints and varnishes in Russian arbitration courts in a dispute over the recovery of damages caused by the bad faith actions on the part of the former general director, as well as in parallel labour disputes with a number of former employees brought before general jurisdiction courts (becoming one of the first examples of application of Resolution No. 62 of the Supreme Arbitration Court Plenum on the liability of directors);

a major regional car manufacturer in a dispute with the Moscow Government on termination of a state contract for the supply of transport vehicles worth RUB 1.3 billion;

an international investment and financial group in various labour disputes, disputes related to the challenging of transactions and in bankruptcy proceedings against the client’s Russian subdivisions initiated by its local management, in arbitration and general jurisdiction courts;

a BVI-registered private jet owner in challenging an unlawful decision of the Russian Federal Tax Service and in the course of litigation concurrently carried out in Luxembourg;

a Caribbean-registered trustee in a dispute on the matters of family law arising in connection with the division of family property including assets located in Russia, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
