Anton Alifanov is an expert in international commercial arbitration and Russian arbitration proceedings. Over the past 18 years, Anton has advised and represented national and foreign businesses and private clients in international arbitration and state courts, in commerce, oil and gas, construction, corporate disputes, as well as out-of-court conflict resolution, advised on dispute resolution mechanisms as part of M&A transactions. He participated in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, SCC, FAI and ICAC at the Russian CCI (ICAC). Furthermore, Anton considered cases as an arbitrator under the rules of the ICAC and the Russian Arbitration Center (RAC), and is included in the RAC’s list of recommended arbitrators.

His expertise in dispute resolution is highly appreciated by national and international ratings, including The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Pravo-300, Kommersant. Before joining VERBA LEGAL, Anton worked for Nextons as a dispute resolution counsel. Anton is Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Commercial Arbitration (Stockholm University). Anton has also been a lawyer at the Moscow Bar Association since 2014.

Anastasia Simonova focuses on representing clients in international commercial and investment arbitration, and implements projects that require coordination of arbitration and court proceedings in several jurisdictions. She advised on disputes under the rules of the ICAC at the Russian CCI, ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, HKIAC, DIAC, UNCITRAL, etc. Anastasia is in the Chamber of Arbitrators under the Union of Lawyers, a list of arbitrators of the International Arbitration Court. Anastasia graduated with honours from Moscow State University, has an LL.M in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London. Before joining VERBA LEGAL, she was in charge of International Legal Practice at K&P. Group.
