Sarvarbek Olimjonov

Sarvarbek has more than 6 years of specialisation in commercial dispute resolution, arbitration proceedings and intellectual property protection.
He represents clients' interests before the economic courts of Uzbekistan and in international arbitration in disputes relating to contractual relationships, corporate conflicts, investment projects, supply and distribution matters. He also handles matters relating to the recognition and enforcement of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards, as well as cross-border debt and damages recovery.
In the field of intellectual property, Sarvarbek handles the full cycle of work relating to trademarks, patents, industrial designs and copyright — from registration and the development of protection strategies to handling disputes concerning the infringement of exclusive rights. He also advises on licensing and franchise agreements, technology transfer, and transactions involving intellectual property assets.

one of the largest international chemical plants in three interrelated disputes in the Republic of Uzbekistan;
a Cyprus-based international natural gas trader operating in European energy markets, in a matter concerning the recognition and enforcement in the Republic of Uzbekistan of arbitral awards, in the amount of EUR 25 million, rendered in proceedings administered by the Swiss Arbitration Centre;
one of the leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology groups in the CIS on matters relating to personal data protection and the regulation of its foreign representative office's activities in Uzbekistan;
