Bobur has experience working in both the public and private sectors. He advises clients on corporate, labour, and civil matters in accordance with Uzbek law and provides legal support to businesses.

Bobur has participated in projects related to corporate issues and has extensive experience in Uzbek contract law. In particular, he has been involved in drafting supply agreements, lease contracts, construction joint venture agreements, and other contracts, as well as in obtaining various regulatory permits and approvals.

Selected Experience

Bobur advised:

Major construction companies and private educational institutions in Uzbekistan on corporate and contractual matters, relations with government authorities, and participated in conducting legal due diligence audits;

Private employment agencies for obtaining the relevant licenses, as well as on an outstaffing project involving foreign labor for a company servicing and constructing a plant in Uzbekistan;

An international courier service and a company performing non-destructive testing at hazardous industrial sites on obtaining various permits and licenses to operate in Uzbekistan;

Foreign companies on matters related to the establishment of permanent representative offices and permanent establishments in Uzbekistan.

On 19 September, as part of Istanbul Arbitration Days, VERBA LEGAL, together with the international law firm Peter & Kim, hosted a business breakfast on the topic: "Arbitrating on the Bosphorus: A Neutral Harbour for International Disputes — Issues of Anti-Suit and Anti-Arbitration Injunctions, Enforcement, and Public Order."

The event brought together leading experts in international arbitration from Turkey, Russia, Switzerland, the EU, and representatives from the corporate sector to discuss key aspects of conducting arbitration under current geopolitical conditions, choosing Turkey as a seat of arbitration, as well as the potential enforcement of arbitral awards and interim court orders related to arbitration in Turkey, Russia, and Switzerland.
