Besides, Alexander advises clients on structuring corporate governance systems, establishing joint ventures and co-investment structures (notably in the form of closed-end mutual investment funds and investment partnership agreements), as well as creating long-term incentive programs (LTIP, ESOP).
Before joining VERBA LEGAL, Alexander worked for one of the Big Four companies and one of the leading Russian law firms.

Assisted in the acquisition of a Russian fiber optic business from a foreign investor exiting the Russian market, including support in obtaining Government Commission approval and developing mechanisms for repurchase of a portion of shares (stakes) to potentially enable the investor's return and the establishment of a joint venture;
Facilitated the process of obtaining Government Commission approval for the acquisition of corrugated and polymer packaging plants by a leading player in the Russian packaging materials industry;
Assisted in the transaction (including securing Government Commission approval) for the buyout of a foreign investor's share in the capital of a Russian subsidiary, a leader in the global lighting equipment market, by the Russian management;
