Emil specialises in corporate law and M&A transactions. He advises clients on corporate matters, transaction structuring and execution, and conducts legal due diligence in connection with acquisitions of assets and investments in businesses.
Emil also has experience advising clients on obtaining regulatory approvals and clearances from government authorities, including the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and the Government Commission for Control over Foreign Investment.

Alfa-Bank in the acquisition of the Pushkinsky Cinema and KARO FILM Sevastopol, including conducting legal due diligence of the acquired assets;
a major Middle Eastern holding in connection with the acquisition of a group of companies across multiple jurisdictions;
a Russian joint-stock company in connection with the purchase of a large automotive parts distributor;
a Middle Eastern sovereign fund in ongoing support of Russian investments under sanctions and counter-sanctions restrictions.
an investment company Kama Flow on its investment in Callisto Vision, a leading Russian developer of product labelling and quality control solutions. The investment amounted to RUB 700 million;
a major investment and industrial group in connection with obtaining clearance from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS Russia) for the acquisition of a company engaged in subsoil use in the gold-mining sector.
