Sofya has experience representing clients in international commercial arbitration proceedings under the rules of the SCC, SIAC, HKIAC and the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. She advises on complex cross-border disputes, including the preparation of written submissions, development of case strategies and coordination with foreign counsel. Sofya also represents clients in proceedings before Russian courts, including matters relating to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

a domestic manufacturer of innovative pharmaceutical products in a dispute under the SIAC Rules arising from a complex supply and intellectual property licence agreement;
a major Russian retail chain in arbitration under the ICAC Rules at the CCI of Russia in a dispute with a foreign supplier concerning damages for improper performance of a supply contract;
a leading Russian supplier in a dispute against a foreign bank for non-payment under a bank guarantee related to a supply contract for industrial equipment — the dispute is being heard under the SCC Rules.
International Commercial Arbitration
a large pharmaceutical plant in a dispute with a government authority over penalties under a subsidy agreement;
