Ekaterina specialises in matters relating to the registration of rights to land and other real estate assets, including the granting of plots from state and municipal ownership into private ownership or lease, the establishment of easements and public easements, and the provision of legal support at the stage of compulsory acquisition (expropriation) of land plots and the buildings and structures situated on them — acting both for parties in whose favour the acquisition is carried out and for the holders of rights to the real estate concerned.
She is a practising cadastral engineer with extensive experience in land management, cadastral activities and the state registration of rights to real estate.

Ekaterina advised:
a concessionaire on the registration of land rights across six constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the construction and subsequent operation of the Moscow–St Petersburg high-speed railway (HSR-1), including the formation of land plots, changes to permitted use categories, implementation of the land rights registration scenarios envisaged by the territory planning documentation (project territory planning schemes and land surveying schemes), state registration of the concessionaire's land rights, and liaison with state authorities and local self-government bodies;
projects involving the preparation of territory planning documentation (planning schemes and land surveying schemes) and the registration of land rights for the construction of fibre-optic communication lines in the Rostov Region;
over 300 cadastral works relating to state cadastral registration of land plots, buildings, structures and unfinished construction objects, the boundaries of easement zones, and the boundaries of zones with special conditions of use in respect of electricity grid and gas supply facilities;
over 100 land surveying expert assessments, including matters concerning the presence or absence of registry errors, the need to preserve or bring real estate objects into compliance with mandatory requirements, and the confirmation or refutation of unauthorised occupation of land plots.
