Andrey has over 10 years of experience specialising in dispute resolution and the enforcement of judicial acts, with substantial expertise in representing clients before arbitrazh (commercial) courts and courts of general jurisdiction.

He has extensive experience managing complex litigation projects, developing sophisticated legal strategies, and handling commercial disputes on behalf of major businesses, as well as preparing legal opinions on various civil law matters.

Andrey has also participated in legislative work as a member of a task force involved in drafting a bill related to the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Selected Experience

Andrey advised:

Represented SIBUR-Kstovo (a subsidiary of PJSC SIBUR) in a dispute concerning the rights to a land plot required for the implementation of a petrochemical project in the Nizhny Novgorod Region;

due diligence of real estate assets in connection with X5 Retail Group’s acquisition of regional retail chains in the Southern and Far Eastern Federal Districts;

the preparation and coordination of a draft law with federal and regional executive authorities for JSC Corporation Tourism.RF to facilitate infrastructure projects in the tourism sector;

the shareholders of CJSC Lenin State Farm in a corporate conflict within the company;

the Irkutsk Region Housing Renovation Fund in a dispute over recovery of unjust enrichment from a contractor under a regional programme for the replacement of elevator equipment in apartment buildings (pro bono);

K. Shamalov in a dispute challenging a prenuptial agreement;

a respondent against debt claims arising from a sham transaction outside bankruptcy proceedings (successful outcome at the cassation stage, case remitted for re-hearing, and favourable final resolution on second instance);

legal support to foreign companies in a dispute concerning the parallel import of goods into the Russian Federation;

a client in court against a claim regarding illegal use of a forest plot;

a state institution in a dispute related to non-performance of a government contract awarded through a tender process;

the annulment of a transaction executed by a director beyond the powers granted by the company’s charter;

the employer (a state-owned joint-stock company) in a labour dispute challenging the legality of a “golden parachute” payment to an employee;

an agricultural enterprise in a case challenging the validity of general meeting decisions that attempted to deprive the enterprise of rights to leased land;

a client in a claim to recover unjust enrichment from a contractor for substandard work where judicial expertise on work quality was impossible;

a property rights holder in an apartment building in discussions with state authorities regarding the legal status of premises (residential/non-residential) in preparation for demolition, due to state ownership of all premises.
