VERBA LEGAL announces that Vyacheslav Yugai has joined as Senior Partner, together with a team of five lawyers, and that a new Special Situations practice has been launched.
The practice team advises clients on the most complex issues arising under conditions of heightened pressure and crisis factors, when traditional legal solutions prove insufficient. The lawyers effectively resolve disputes both in court and through out-of-court settlements, developing bespoke, creative, and commercially sound solutions aimed at achieving rapid results and maximising client benefits.
In addition to resolving international disputes, the team has extensive experience advising on investments and transactions involving distressed assets, accelerated M&A deals and other forms of distressed investment, as well as complex cross-border restructurings with multi-tiered capital structures that require a balance between legal position, deal economics, negotiation strategy and, often, national security considerations.
