VERBA LEGAL once again announces the accession of new partners and welcomes Kirill Ponasyuk and Artem Rubanov to its team.

VERBA LEGAL is still rapidly developing with the accession of a team of experienced professionals in the field of dispute resolution in Russian courts under the leadership of partners Kirill Ponasyuk and Artem Rubanov. A group of 8 lawyers joined the Dispute Resolution practice, including attorneys Inna Ivanikova, Sergey Afanasyev, Yuri Samoletnikov and Alexey Brysin. 

Kirill Ponasyuk and Artem Rubanov are prominent representatives of the new generation of Russian litigators. Their team resolves complex Russian litigations and special situations with a special focus on major commercial disputes, corporate conflicts and bankruptcy, including criminal examination and business incident management.

Over the last 2 years, Kirill and Artem led the largest number of court projects related to corporate dispute and conflict settlement in Russia based on the survey ‘Special Edition: Corporate Law’ Pravo.ru (2024).

Before joining VERBA LEGAL, Kirill Ponasyuk was in charge of Dispute Resolution practice at a major Russian law firm, has been a member of the Moscow Bar Association since 2013 and is recommended as a litigation leader by the Best Lawyers, Pravo-300, Kommersant and Rossiyskaya Gazeta. 

Before joining VERBA LEGAL, Artem Rubanov was a counsel at a major Russian consulting firm, has been a member of the Moscow Bar Association and is recommended as a litigation leader by Pravo-300 and Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
