"We are seeing no fewer deal inquiries than over the previous two years. At the same time, these transactions can generally be divided into two categories. The first consists of cherry-picking deals, where valuations are significantly lower due to high debt burdens or challenges in valuing the asset, particularly in the case of manufacturing businesses and capital-intensive assets. The second category comprises transactions under the 'old normal,' where valuations also remain moderate, but clients pursue full-scale acquisitions primarily to achieve synergies or expand into new industries, geographic markets, or other strategic areas."
