Yesterday, at the XVI Russian M&A Congress, VERBA LEGAL became the M&A market leader, taking 1st place in the “Best Law Firm” category at the Russia M&A Awards 2026.

We also received the “Deal of the Year” award for advising on the acquisition of LLC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat. The deal, valued at $3.35 billion, became the largest on the Russian M&A market in 2025.

The awards ceremony, organized by PREQVECA, Mergers.ru and Cbonds-Congress, traditionally brought together M&A market leaders. Since 2010, this award has been presented annually to the best players in the mergers and acquisitions market. The winners are determined by an open vote and the Mergers.ru consultant ranking.
