VERBA LEGAL announces the launch of a Labour Law practice with the addition of Partner Anna Berlina and Counsel Roman Zherebtsov. This expansion marks the creation of a new practice focused on providing comprehensive support to Russian and international companies on labour law matters.
Anna Berlina has over 19 years of experience advising on a wide range of labour law issues, including employment disputes, inspections by labour authorities and prosecutors, workforce optimisation, conflict-related dismissals, interaction with trade unions, drafting internal policies, and bonus systems.
Roman Zherebtsov has over 18 years of experience in labour law, representing clients in employment disputes, working with trade unions, and implementing motivation systems (long-term incentive programs, stock options, revision of bonus schemes in line with recent changes to the Russian Labour Code), as well as managing remote work arrangements and transitioning to electronic document management (KEDO).
The launch of VERBA LEGAL’s Labour Law practice will allow clients to receive tailored and effective solutions adapted to their business needs in a dynamic legal environment.
“The addition of this team will significantly strengthen our expertise in labour law,” said Tatyana Neveeva, Managing Partner at VERBA LEGAL. “It ensures the implementation of our full-service firm concept — a single point of access to the strongest practices on the market.”
“I have known Anna Berlina for a long time, and she is arguably one of the strongest lawyers in Russian courts of general jurisdiction in her field,” emphasised Alexander Panov, Senior Partner.
“We are excited to join the VERBA LEGAL team! I am confident that our expertise will help clients address complex challenges,” commented Anna Berlina, Partner and Head of the Labour Law Practice.
