Senior Associate Anastasia Myrsina will act as judge in several face-to-face rounds of the 14th All-Russian Crystal Themis Moot Competition.
Crystal Themis is an annual moot competition on constitutional justice, which gets together Russia’s best students of law. The participants demonstrate their skills before a panel of judges composed of representatives of state authorities, leading law firms and human rights organisations.
‘This year’s cases are extremely interesting. For instance, legal regulation of human reproductive rights in the context of biotechnology use. The cases are really exciting and allow a deeper insight into the bioethics and law relationships. To practising lawyers, participation as judges offers an opportunity not only to contribute to the development of future professionals but also to form contacts with promising young specialists,’ Anastasia said.
