On August 1, 2025, Tashkent will host an international round table "Illegal Trade, Gray Market and Parallel Import in Uzbekistan: Challenges and Regulatory Strategies from Experts’ Perspective", organized by the Association of Representative Offices of Foreign Pharmaceutical Companies and Manufacturers in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event will deal with the problems and challenges associated with illegal trade and gray import in the country and the region, as well as best practices and forward-looking regulatory developments.

The speakers include such leading experts as Jeffrey P. Hardy, CEO of TRACIT, Amir Sultanov, Executive Director of Novotek, Dmitry Bolotov from BMF Business Research and others.

Alexander Panov, VERBA LEGAL’s Senior Partner, will speak on "Regulatory, Fiscal and Technological Solutions Designed to Protect the Domestic Market from Gray Import".

The event will serve as an important platform for sharing experiences and developing effective solutions to protect the domestic market from grey imports and counterfeit goods.
