On 28 November 2024, Minsk will host the Law in the Modern World forum, the major platform for discussing legal issues in the Republic of Belarus.

Government officials and businesses will traditionally gather together to discuss the tasks and challenges on the global agenda and propose solutions.

Marat Samarsky, Counsel at VERBA LEGAL's Sanctions Law Practice, will speak on the sanctions panel on ‘Sanctions Enforcement: Asset Forfeiture for Circumventing Restrictive Measures’.

During the panel, moderated by Elena Dovgan, Special Rapporteur of the UN Council, experts will discuss both the current challenges and the most acute peculiarities of law enforcement.
