VERBA LEGAL has completed full-service legal advice on the sale of 22% of shares in “Uzhuralzoloto Group of Companies” Public Joint-Stock Company (UGC), one of Russia’s largest gold miners.

22% of shares were acquired by AAA Capital Management, a member of Gazprombank Group, from Konstantin Strukov, UGC President and majority shareholder. As a result of the transaction, Konstantin Strukov retains his majority interest in UGK in the amount of 67.8% of the company’s registered capital. The company’s free-float stock makes up 10.15%.
