VERBA LEGAL protected the historical territory of the synagogue of Madregot, a religious organization of progressive Judaism in the Tyumen Region. This is a cultural heritage site and the only surviving religious Jewish building in the Tyumen Region. A dispute over its boundaries could threaten the preservation of the property, the holding of national and religious events and its UNESCO international status.

VERBA LEGAL’s lawyers actively developed the defence strategy, prepared procedural documents and represented the client in three courts, including the Supreme Court. They managed to defend not only the rights of a religious organization, but also to preserve the cultural and spiritual heritage, which is significant both for the community and for generations to come.
