Mergers.ru announced the rating of consultants in the Russian M&A market.

Experts ranked transactions between Russian companies completed by law firms in 2023. They considered, among other things, the transaction price, the market value of the acquisition target, the number of completed transactions, and the size of the consulting team.

Direct sale of assets and related-party transactions, as well as deals not disclosed for confidentiality reasons were disregarded.

VERBA LEGAL has been on the market for a little over half a year, but is already leading in as many as three categories:

• #5 in the overall rating

• #5 by number of transactions in 2023

• #5 by transaction value in 2023.
