VERBA LEGAL Council of Partners made the decision to appoint Tatiana Neveeva to the position of managing partner. The decision was made in pursuance of the current firm’s development strategy and its rotation policy. She replaced Oleg Khuazhev, currently focusing on the customer management, corporate law development and М&A practices.
Last year was an important year for VERBA LEGAL: the company grew twice, increased the number of practices and partners in pursuance of its strategy of building a full-service law firm with resources enabling to support both the large-scale comprehensive local projects and the transborder multiple-jurisdiction projects with the same rate of success.
Tatiana Neveeva will continue following this strategic course and focus on management of the fast-growing team, supporting the highest professional standards of legal services that meet the growing market demand. Tatiana will also lead streamlining the workflow of lawyers in Verba Bar Association to expand the capabilities for protection of the client interests.
“We commit to the principle of participatory management and rotate the position of the managing partner among the firm’s partners. Oleg held the position of the managing partner at the establishment stage of the firm, put a lot of efforts to development and streamlining of processes. I have no doubts that Tatiana will lead by example at the following development stage”, noted Senior Partner Alexander Panov.
Senior Partner Oleg Khuazhev, former Managing Partner, commented on the change as follows: “I’m glad to assign my authorities to Tatiana Neveeva, who is not only a perfect expert, but also an experienced manager. She is constantly striving for improvement of processes and achievement of high results. I’m sincerely happy to entrust the steering wheel to her safe hands and wish her success”.
“I’m grateful to my colleagues for their trust and ready to embrace new challenges. We face a challenging task to maintain the position of one of the market leaders, which is impossible without continuous improvement of management processes. I believe that my experience will be helpful for the firm”, noted Managing Partner Tatiana Neveeva.
Tatiana Neveeva has a solid experience in support of M&A projects, business structuring, client consulting on the sanction law, client representation in the regulatory bodies of EU member states, as well as in OFAC and OFSI in relation to sanction matters. Tatiana is also a reputed expert in dispute settlement both in the state courts and international arbitration.
